Answer to Q.7 is:
The new enfield cartridge that was being provided to the Indian sepoys by the British was made of pork fat. Moreover, this cartridge was required to be bitten by the sepoys for activating it. This hurt the religious sentiments of both the Hindu and Muslim sepoys due to which they refused to use the new cartridge.
