Q. Why does string cause pain and irritation ? Rubbing of baking soda on the string area gives relief . How ?

Bee sting cause pain and irritation due to the formic acid injected.
Rubbing of baking soda wil neutralise the effect of formic acid as the baking soda is basic in nature so,it gives relief.
