Question

Q. Why the motion of car in this case is said to be accelerated though the speed of the car is constant ?

This car is running on a circular road with a constant speed. Now, since the direction of motion of car is changing continuosly (due to circular road), its velocity is also changing (though the speed is constant). The motion of car in this case is said to be accelerated.

Solution

SppedSis constant doesn't means velocity is constant . acceleration is the rate of change of velocity .aincesit moving with constant speed bu the direction of the velocity is changing at every moment . Hence it is accelerated motion .it us also known as uniform circular motion .
