3) Sodium hydroxide reacts with ethanoic acid :
CH3COOH + NaOH CH3COONa + H2O

4) Solid sodium bicarbonate reacts with ethanoic acid :
CH3COOH + NaHCO3 CH3COONa + H2O + CO2
