Solution

(1) Given: A car can travel 47 km with 4 litres of petrol.
Car can travel 1 km with 447 litre of petrol.
Car can travel 235 km with 447×235=20 litres of petrol.
(2) Given: 20 cans are pack in one carton.
So, 1 can occupy (120)th space of a carton.
So, 500 cans are pack in 120×500=25 cartons.
(3) Given: 120 books of the same size are packed in 5 box.
