Dear student,
The economic hardships faced in Europe during 1830s were :
1. The rate of population growth was much more higher than employment opportunities.
2. There was huge migration of rural population to cities giving rise to slums and unhygienic conditions.
3. Small producers in towns (especially textile-producing industries) faced tough competition by the import of cheap machine-made goods from England.
4.Peasants still suffered the burden of feudal dues and obligations in some regions of Europe.
5. Inflation or rise in food prices and a year of bad harvest increased poverty.
