Solution

Dear student,
Tin is a non-biodegradable substance because it is taking 100 years to decompose or degenerate. Biodegradable substances do not take much time to decompose and degenerate.Hence, the materials like tin would be accumulated in the environment and would take a long time to degenerate and so they are non biodegradable.
