The correct option is A

(a) CUS


Notice that the word 'the' is common to each of the sentences. Only PUS is common to the three code equivalents. Hence PUS is code for 'the'. Comparing the first and the second codes, the equivalent of 'is' would be STD. Comparing the second and the third, DIM must be code for 'dog

Comparing the first and the third, BRO is code for Cat. Therefore code for 'has’ is CUS.

There is a short-cut also. 'Has' is the only word in the third sentence which does not occur in the first two. Its code also should have the save properly
