River Mekong has a length of about 4350 km. Rising in South eastern Qinghai province, China, it flows through the eastern part of the Tibet and Yunnan province after which if forms part of the international border between Myanmar and Laos. Through Laos, it goes to Cambodia and Vietnam before draining into the South China Sea South of Ho Chi Minh City

मेकांग नदी की लंबाई 4350 किमी है। यह चीन के दक्षिण पूर्वी क़िंगहाई प्रांत (Qinghai Province) में प्रवाहित होते हुए तिब्बत और युन्नान प्रांत के पूर्वी हिस्से से बहती है इसके बाद म्यांमार और लाओस के बीच अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा का हिस्सा बनती है। हो ची मिन्ह सिटी के दक्षिण में दक्षिण चीन सागर में गिरने के पूर्व यह नदी लाओस होते हए कम्बोडिया और वियतनाम में प्रवाहित होती है।
