अपने विश्वसनीय अधीनस्थों की एक टीम के साथ दोपहर के भोजन में भाग लें, जो उसी मंत्री को रिपोर्ट करते हैं।
Option (a) is best. Presence of other officers would neutralize the risk of Minister’s frivolity. Option (b) is passive. This is shifting the officer’s problem to a superior. Which superior would ask a minister to cancel a meeting and on what ground? Option (c) implies bold approach. Often this would work great, but a small risk of creating a scene would be there. It is better to avoid that potential risk to reputation. Option (d) this may work if the visit of the minister is infrequent. But tactic may not work always.
