Do you find that all living beings need the same kind of food?

All living beings do not need the same kind of food. Different animals eat different kinds of food as per their body structure and internal organs.
Depending on the type of food they eat, the animals are divided into three basic categories:
i) Herbivores:
Animals which feed only on plants and plant products are called herbivores.
Examples: cow, goat, elephant, deer, etc.
ii) Carnivores:
Animals which feed only on other animals are called carnivores.
Examples: lion, tiger, fox, etc.
ii) Omnivores:
Animals which feed on both plants and animals are called omnivores.
Examples: crow, human, dog, etc.
