Slow Change

Fast Change

Some changes take place at a slow rate, such changes are called slow changes. eg. Growth of plant, rusting of iron

Some changes take place in a fraction of a second, such changes are called fast changes. eg. Occurrence of lightning during thunderstorms and earthquakes.

  1. Natural and ma-made change

Natural Change

Man-made Change

A change that occurs naturally on its own is called a natural change. eg. changing of the season, the occurrence of tides, eclipses.

A man-made change is one that occurs because of human activities. e.g. Changing the direction of the flow of a river by building a dam.
