Find the roots of the quadratic equations by using the quadratic formula in the following question.


12x211x+1=0

Given equation is 12x211x+1=0
On comparing with ax2 + bx + c = 0, we get
a=12b=11 and c=1
by quadratic formula x=b±b24ac2a
=(111)±(11)24×12×12(12)
=11±1121=11±9
=11±3=3+11,113
So, 3 + 11 and 11 - 3 are the roots of the given equation
