Solution

Exhaling:

Exhaling is the process of removal of the carbon dioxide rich air from the lungs.

  1. The air coming out of the lungs is warm and moist because it contains partially the heart from the body and moist because it contains the water vapor coming out with the air.
  2. During summer the temperature outside is also warm and hence there is no smoke produced as the exhaled air comes out with the same temperature as the outside.
  3. When it comes to winter, the temperature is lower and hence the warm and moist air creates a white smoke through the condensation of the warm air when it comes in contact with the cold air of the outside.
