Find the side of a square, whose area is equal to the area of a rectangle with sides 6.4 m and 2.5 m.

Given dimensions of a rectangle are 6.4 m and 2.5 m.
Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth = 6.4 × 2.5 = 16 m2
Let the side of square be x m
According to the question,
Area of square = Area of rectangle.
x2=16
x=16
x=4×4x=4 m
Hence, the side of a square is 4 m.
