Which items have a recycled amount less than $\frac{1}{2}$?

Similarly, portion of aluminium cans recycled
$=\frac{5}{8}$ is greater than $\frac{1}{2}(=\frac{4}{8})$

Portion of Glass recycled
$=\frac{2}{5}=\frac{2\times 2}{5\times 2}=\frac{4}{10}<\frac{1}{2}(=\frac{5}{10})$

and Portion of Scrap recycled
$=\frac{3}{4}>\frac{1}{2}(=\frac{2}{4})$

So, the quntity of paper and glass recycled is less than $\frac{1}{2}$.
