The diameter of the Sun is 1.4×109m and the diameter of the Earth is 1.2756×107 m. Compare their diameters by division.

Diameter of the Sun = 1.4×109 m
Diameter of the Earth = 1.2756×107 m
For comparison, we have to change both diameter in same powers of 10 i.e. 1.2756×107=0.012756×109
Hence, if we divide diameter of Sun by diameter of Earth, we get
1.4×1090.012756×109=110
So, diameter of Sun is 110 times the diameter of Earth.
