How is sound produced and how is it transmitted and heard by us?

Sound is produced when body vibrates. When the body vibrates it produces sound waves and this waves travel through the medium. If there is no medium, then the sound waves won’t propagate and sound waves will not reach us. But if the medium is present then the sound wave will propagate with the help of medium towards us. When these sound waves reach our ears, our brain process those waves and we are able to hear the sound.
