You are provided with a fine white coloured powder which is either sugar or salt. How would you identify it without tasting?

(i) Dissolve salt and sugar separately in alcohol, sugar will be dissolved in alcohol while salt won't be dissolved in alcohol.
(ii) Dissolve both the powders in a beaker of water and check solution conducts electricity. The solution which conducts contains salt in it.
