If a die is thrown, there are two possible outcomes – an odd number or an even number. Therefore, the probability of getting an odd number is $\frac{1}{2}$.

Correct: The two outcomes considered in the question are equally likely beacuse the there are 3 odd numbers as well as 3 even numbers on a die. Therefore, the probability of getting an odd number is $\frac{1}{2}$.
