(i) What do you mean by evaporation?
(ii) Why do we see water droplets on the outer surface of a glass containing ice-cold water?
(i) The process in which water changes its state from liquid to gas below its boiling point is called evaporation.
(ii) The water vapour present in the air comes in contact with the cold surface of the glass, loses its energy and gets converted into droplets of water.
