If it has rained 276mm in the last 3 days, how many cm of rain will fall in one full week (7 days)? Assume that the rain continues to fall at the same rate.

Rain in 3 days = 276mm

Applying unitary method, where firstly we find the value of one unit and then the value of required number of units.

$\therefore$ Rain in 1 day = $\frac{276}{3}$ = 92mm

$\therefore$ Rain in 7 days = 92 $\times$ 7 = 644 mm = 64.4cm [$\because$ 10mm = 1cm]

Thus, total rain in 7 days is 64.4cm.
