In the following APs, find the missing term in the boxes.

We know that,
$a_4=a_2+d+d\Rightarrow 3=13+2d\Rightarrow 2d=3-13=-10\Rightarrow d=\frac{-10}{2}=-5$

$a_n=a+(n-1)d\Rightarrow a_2=a+(2-1)(-5)\Rightarrow 13=a+(-5)\Rightarrow a=18$

$\therefore a_3=18+(3-1)(-5)=18+2(-5)=18-10=8$

Therefore, the missing terms are 18 and 8 respectively.
