(i) "Evaporation is the process of transformation of "liquid state to gaseous state" by heating below its boiling point. We can observe this in our everyday life also such as:
Hot tea getting cold
Wet clothes drying in the sun
Evaporation of perspiration from the body
Drying of a mopped floor
Drying of wet hair
(ii) The Changing of a solid directly into vapours on heating, and of vapours into solid on cooling is called sublimation.
For example, Dry Ice, water cycle, mothballs, etc.
