The value fo $3^{5} \div 3^{- 6}$ is :

Solution

Using law of exponents $a^{m} \div a^{n} = a^{m - n} ∴ (3^{5} \div 3^{- 6})$

= $3^{5 - (- 6)}$

= $3^{5 + 6}$

= $3^{11}$
