$\because$ Speed of the car =48 km/h
and time taken by car =10h
$\therefore$ Distance = Speed $\times$ Time $=48\times 10=480km$
If car need to cover 480 km in 8 h, then
Required speed =$\frac{480}{8}=60km/h$ $[\because speed=\frac{distance}{time}]$
Hence, option (a) is correct.
