Find the MP, if
SP = Rs. 9250 and discount = $7\frac{1}{2}\%$

Selling price (SP) = Rs. 9250
Discount $\%=7\frac{1}{2}\%=\frac{15}{2}\%$
Let ,marked price be Rs x
$\therefore$ Selling price = Marked price - $\frac{Discount\%}{100}\times MP$
$\Rightarrow 9250=x-\frac{15}{2\times 100}\times x\Rightarrow 9250=\frac{200x-15x}{200}\Rightarrow 9250=\frac{185x}{200}$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{9250\times 200}{185}$ [by cross - multiplication]
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{1850000}{185}=Rs.10000$
Hence, the marked price = Rs. 10000.
