It is raining heavily and Paheli wishes to reach the main road. The path on which she is least likely to slip is

She should use the gravel surface path which provides sufficient friction force to walk. Soft and wet sand greatly increases the amount of effort as we sink into them. Gravel on top of mud stops us sinking deeper. And that makes walking easier.
