The number of girls enrolled in a school last year was g. The number of girls enrolled this year in the school is 3g - 10.

Number of girls enrolled in the school last year = g

Number of girls enrolled in the school this year = 3g - 10

i.e., the number of girls enrolled in school this year is 10 less than three times the number of girls enrolled last year.
