(b) The diameter (d) of a circle is twice its radius (r).

(c) The selling price (s) of an item is equal to the sum of the cost price (c) of an item and the profit (p) earned.

(d) Amount (a) is equal to the sum of principal (p) and interest (i).

(a) Side of the given equilateral triangle = a

Perimeter of the given equilateral triangle = p

Three times side a = 3 × a = 3a

Since the perimeter of an equilateral triangle is three times its side length, we can write it as p = 3a.

(b) Given,

Diamater of the circle = d

Radius of the circle = r

Twice the radius = 2r

Since the diameter is twice the radius, we can write it as d = 2r.

(c) Given, selling price of the item = ₹ s

Cost price of the item = ₹ c

Profit earned = ₹ p

Since selling price is equal to the sum of cost price and the profit earned, we can write it as s = c + p.

(d) Given, amount = ₹ a

Principle = ₹ p

Interest = ₹ 1

Since the amount is equal to the sum of principal and interest, we can write it as a = p + i.
