$R e q u i r e d r a t i o = \frac{S u r f a c e a r e a o f s p h e r e}{C S A o f c y l i n d e r} = \frac{4 π r^{2}}{4 π r^{2}} = \frac{1}{1}$ .

Therefore, the ratio between these two surface areas is 1:1.
