Global warming is one of the greatest challenges that our planet is facing. It is the unequivocal and continuing rise in the average temperature of the Earth’s climate system. It occurs as a result of an increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These gases trap solar radiations, keeping our planet warm and thus, helps in survival of living organisms. However, an increase in the amount of greenhouse gases can lead to an increase in the Earth's temperature leading to global warming.
