Question 94
Solve the following question:
Can a right-angled triangle with sides 6 cm, 10 cm and 8 cm be formed? Give reason.
We know that in a right-angled triangle the sum of the square of two smaller sides is equal to the square of the longer side.
∵102=100=64+36=82+62
Hence, 6 cm, 8 cm, and 10 cm are the sides of a right-angled triangle.
