Bohr's model of an atom:
So basically Bohr's model of an atom is proposed by Neils Bohr in the year 1915.
This model is basically the modification of Rutherford's model of an atom.
So Bohr's theory actually modified the atomic structure model by explaining the movement of the electron in the fixed orbitals and also not anywhere else in between
He also explained that each orbit basically has its own fixed energy.
So, in an atom the electrons just revolve around the positively charged nucleus and in a definite path an orbit.
The energy levels are represented by an integer (n =1, 2, 3…..) which is known as quantum number, and this range just starts from the nucleus side with n=1 and the lowest energy level.
