(1) Area = 1386 cm2
πr2=1386227r2=1386r2=441r=21 cm
Circumference = 2πr=2×227×21=132 cm
Hence, the correct answer is option B.

(2) Side of a cube = 4 m
Volume = a3=43=64 m3
New side = 2×original side=2×4=8 m
Volume of new cube = 83=512 m3
New volume = 512 m3 = 8×64=8×old volume
Thus, the new volume is 8 times the old volume.
Hence, the correct answer is option D.
