The four flowers bloom at an interval of 2,4,6 and 8 days, or at every multiple of 2,4,6 and 8 days. The number of days after which they bloom together is equal to the common multiples of 2,4,6 and 8. The number of days after which they bloom together for the first time = LCM (2,4,6 and 8)


Prime factorization of 2,4,6 and 8:
2 = 2
4 = 2 × 2
6 = 2 × 3
8 = 2 × 2 × 2
LCM = 24 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3
Hence, they will bloom together again on the 24th day of that month.
