Metaphase:

  1. Metaphase is a stage of cell division, both meiosis, and mitosis.
  2. Individual chromosomes uncoil in the cell nucleus.
  3. In this phase, the nucleus gets dissolved and the condensation of chromosomes occurs which move together.
  4. They get aligned in the center of the dividing cell.
  5. In this stage, the chromosomes can be seen through a microscope.
