1. Radioactive materials are available in nature as a conservative amount due to which they are found very less amount in nature.
2. The radioactive materials emit a large amount of energy in the process of nuclear reaction which is used in nuclear power plants to generate energy.
3. Radioactive material also emits harmful rays like $\alpha ,\beta ,$ and $\gamma$ rays.
4. These rays damage the human body due to which various diseases occur in the body like cancer and skin diseases.
5. Therefore above reason radioactive material is an alternative source of energy that must be used wisely.

Hence, that's way radioactive materials are used wisely.
