Length of chord PQ=80 units

We know that, perpendicular drawn from the centre of the circle to the chord bisects the chord.
PR=RQ=802 units=40 units
In OPR,
OR2+PR2=OP2
OR2+402=412
OR2+1600=1681
OR2=16811600
OR2=81
OR=9
Thus, the distance of the chord from the centre of the circle is 9 units.
