Solution

Comparing the radius of the Earth and the Mars:

The radius of the Earth is 6400km.

The radius of Mars is 4300000m.

So, first, we will make the units equal.

So, converting the radius of mars which is 4300000m into km.

We know that, 1km=1000m.

Therefore, the radius of Mars=43000001000

=4300km.

Thus, 6400km>4300km.

Hence, the radius of the Earth is greater.

Also, radius of Earth-radius of Mars=6400-4300

=2100km

Therefore, the radius of the Earth is greater than that of Mars by 2100km.
