Radius of the base of the cylindrical aluminium tube (r) = 3.5 cm.

Height (length) of tube (h) = 100 cm.

Area of Aluminium sheet required = curved surface area of the tube

= 2 π r h = 2 $\times$ $\frac{22}{7}$ $\times$ 3.5 $\times$ 100 = 2200 sq. cm
