Ragini went to watch a 4D animated short movie in a mall. There were 7 different animated movies playing on the screen. She paid Rs. 150 for one show of a movie. In Rs. 800 how many different animated movies she can see (assume she spent money only on movie tickets)?
5
Ragini watched one movie in Rs 150.
So the ratio of cost to a movie is 150: 1.
Tickets of a movie can be bought to watch the full movie i.e.if someone wants to watch a movie, they can buy tickets for Rs 150 only.
They cannot buy a ticket for the half movie with Rs 75.
Let "x” be the number of movies she can watch,
So,(Price of ticket)(Number of tickets)=1501=800x
Now by cross multiplying
x=800150=5.33
As the number of movie tickets can only be a whole number, so it will be 5.
The number of movies she can watch is 5.
