Let the speed of Rahul in still water = x km/h
Speed of stream = y km/h
The downstream speed = (x+y) km /h
Upstream speed = (x-y) km /h
we know that

According to question
$f o r, d o w n s t r e a m, \frac{20}{x + y} = 2 10 = x + y - - - - (1) U p s t r e a m \frac{4}{x - y} = 2 x - y = 2 - - - - (2) A d d i n g (1) a n d (2) 2 x = 12 x = 6 N o w p u t x = 6 i n (1) 6 + y = 10 y = 4 S p e e d o f R a h u l i n S t i l l w a t e r = 6 k m / h S p e e d o f s t r e a m = 4 k m / h$
