Rahul marked five points on a sheet of paper. What is the maximum number of points that can be collinear, if he wants to make a triangle by joining those points?
If we mark five points on a paper, then to make triangle we need at least three different lines. So, the maximum number of points that can be collinear is four, as shown in the figure below:
If all the five points are collinear then a straight line will be formed when these points are joined.
