Speed of train =108×518=30 m/s
Let vR and vT represent the respective velocities of rain and train.
Now, the relative velocity of rain w.r.t. person (train) is given by vRT=vRvT
=vR+(vT)
Let OR and RT represent the velocity vectors.


OT2=OR2+RT2+2OR×RTcos120
=202+3022×20×30×12
=400+900600=700 m/s

OT=vRT=107 m/s
