The correct option is B Frontal rainfall
Orographic rainfall - occurs when moist air mass is forced to rise up due to the presence of mountain barriers. As the moist air rises, it cools down and condenses to form rainfall.
Frontal rainfall - occurs when a warm air mass and cold air mass meet. As the warm air mass is less dense so it rises up, whereas the cold air mass has higher density so it settles down. As the warm air mass rises, it cools and condenses resulting in rainfall.
Convectional rainfall - occurs when the heated air from the earth’s surface rises upwards along with the water vapour and gets condensed when it reaches a higher altitude.
Therefore (b) Frontal rainfall is the correct answer.
