Solution

Rainwater - It is a form of water that can be categorised as above the surface water as it is received as rainfall from the clouds.

The statement can be supported by the following points:-

  1. Rainwater is the product of the natural distillation process.
  2. The water vapour evaporated from water bodies like lakes, oceans, and reservoirs rise above and form clouds that condense and come down as rainfall.
  3. Since it is pure water it does not contain any type of dissolved impurities in it.
  4. When coming through the atmosphere it dissolves some gases and dust particles in the air.

Hence, rainwater is the purest form of natural water.
