Let the number of mangoes bought by Aryan initially by x.
Number of mangoes Raj bought = 7

After sometime,

• Raj ate 2 mangoes $\Rightarrow$ Number of mangoes left with Raj = 7-2 = 5
• Aryan bought two more mangoes $\Rightarrow$ number of mangoes with Aryan = $x+2$

Both of them bought an equal number of mangoes.
$\Rightarrow$ Number of mangoes with Raj = Number of mangoes with Aryan.
$\Rightarrow x+2=5$
$\Rightarrow x=3$
