Let Rahul age be $^{'} x^{'}$
Raju's age be $y$
Given $y = x - 5 - - - - - - - (i)$
four years later Rahul will be twice as old as Raju
$x + 4 = 2 (y + 4)$
Substitute $(i)$
$∴ x + 4 = 2 (x - 5) + 8$
$\Rightarrow x + 4 = 2 x - 10 + 8$
$\Rightarrow x = 6$
$∴$ Rahul's age $= 6 y e a r s$
Raju's age $= (x - 5) = 6 - 5 = 1 y e a r$ '
