Solution

S.P = Rs 17940 Discount = 8%
M.P=S.P×100100discount=17940×1001008
=179400092=Rs.19,500
Profit = 19.6%
C.P=S.P×100100+profit=17940×100100+19.6=1794000119.6
If he didnot give discount then S.P = Rs 19500, C.P= Rs 15,000
Profit = S.P- C.P = 19500-15000= Rs 4500
Profit % = profitC.P×100=450015000×100=30%
